I want to thank everyone who has taken part in our TV licence campaign over the last weeks, whether that be static, socially distanced demonstrations; sending in videos and photographs; emailing or writing to the PM and your MP; tweeting the PM or sending us your lovely messages.
We are still unsure of being out and about and being in lockdown longer than others does take its toll on our energy levels and ability to do things.
We have had enormous press coverage and support for our campaign. National as well as local media have joined us and that is fantastic.
The campaign goes on until we get a permanent resolution from the government and the BBC.
A new Director General at the BBC will perhaps have a different point of view and a more positive aspect on how to seek a resolution. We will know in due course.
Once again, thank you so much for everything you do. Be proud.
