The NPC is a unique organisation, run by older people for the older people of today and tomorrow. Our main objective is to promote the welfare and interests of all pensioners, as a way of securing dignity, respect and financial security in retirement. 

But life for a pensioner in the UK isn’t what it should be. We have one of the worst state pensions of all the industrialised nations; the Triple Lock is constantly at risk; Social Care is in crisis; people are digitally excluded from day-to-day services, health as well as transport and now the Winter Fuel Payment is going to be means tested. Millions could go cold this winter as a result.
