The Climate Coalition are following up on the success of their Mass Lobby of MPs with next week’s Lobby Week (13th to 20th September) in constituencies across the UK.
NPC members joined more than 5,000 people in Westminster on 9th July to call on MPs to ‘Act Now, Change Forever’ on climate change.

From this Saturday (13th) for seven days, you can have another chance to arrange to meet your local MP in your home constituency to call for urgent government action on today’s big environmental challenges.
You’ve still time to meet your MP from 13th-20th September
The Climate Coalition (TCC), which includes NPC, organised this summer’s Mass Lobby to enable people from around the UK to meet 200 MPs in London. Now, they are encouraging people to invite their MPs to meetings in their own communities – and there is still time to get involved.
Just follow the TCC webpage link - www.theclimatecoalition.org/act-now-change-forever - to find out how you can easily invite your MP to meet you next week using their easy-action online form. TCC even offer to help you write the invitation.
Many MPs have already agreed to meet TCC supporters next week - either in their constituency offices, local libraries, or community hubs. You can find an interactive map on the TCC website to show if your MP is already taking part and available to meet constituents for Lobby Week.
A TCC spokesperson explained: “Your voice matters. If you care about the environment, locally, nationally or internationally, let’s make a united call for bold, practical action in Lobby Week.”
Attendees in July not only met their MPs, and decision makers, they found out more at interactive stalls just like the one manned by NPC volunteers (pictured here). And the impact of the Mass Lobby was immediate with PM Keir Starmer sending a letter of support.

So, if you are concerned about the future of our environment and would like to speak to your own MP about it during Lobby Week, visit the TCC website today. www.theclimatecoalition.org/act-now-change-forever
