The NPC has written a briefing paper on the history of the triple lock and also written an open letter to all MPs urging them to vote against any attempt to change the Triple Lock on the state pension for 2022. We would encourage them to meet with NPC, and other organisations involved with older people to understand why the triple lock is necessary for the pensioners of today and in the future.
